Making Your Hands Stand Out! by: Rebecca (Guest Post)

We often work our hands quite hard over the course of the year with various tasks and it’s important that we look after them when we can. It’s never nice to look down to see callous hands from the hard work we’ve been doing, so it’s nice to treat yourself every now and again to bring back some vitality. It could be for a night out or a lovely dinner, or for no particular reason at all except to relax. To treat your hands and make them stand out, there are a number of choices including having a manicure, getting your nails painted or purchasing a new ring.

For tired and weary hands, there’s nothing that really compares to a lovely manicure. It allows someone to pamper your hands and give them the care and attention they deserve. Our hands are incredibly important parts of our bodies and we use them constantly throughout the day. It’s natural for them to become a bit worn and through a manicure, you can give them a well-deserved rest, whilst revitalising your hands. Massaging them will release any tension and filing down your nails will make your hands into the pretty things they once were. Some manicures will also include more nail services including applying creams and oils, and finally having them painted.

The type of design or colour you go for will depend on your personality and general fashion sense. There is a vast range of colours to pick from and you may want to match your nails to your outfit. Alternatively, you can go for a neutral colour that matches several outfits, especially if the paint will last a number of days. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous you can have a design on top of your choice of colour. Nowadays, there are some very skilled nail artists that can add a beautiful design to really make your hands stand out. This will not suit everyone’s taste but designs can add something different into the mix.

The final option to making your hands look pretty and stand out is by adding jewellery in the form of rings. In this day and age, there are several different designs and styles when it comes to rings. They can be outrageously big or petite and minimal, and it will depend on your personality as to which you will prefer. Many women also tend to wear a number of rings on each hand, matching up ones which go well together.

There’s no reason why we should treat our hands any different from the rest of our bodies. With the arduous work we put our hands through on a daily basis; it’s nice to sometimes to treat them to a bit of rest and relaxation, after all they definitely deserve them.

Rebecca is a fashion and design student currently working for Samara James and she is passionate about all things to do with fashion and style. For more information on beautiful rings visit http://www.samarajames.com.
