Naturopathica 30 Day Challenge: Week 1 Update

So it has been exactly one week since I began the Naturopathica 30 Day Skin Transformation Challenge.  I was not expecting to see any results yet but surprisingly I have and I am very happy.

My face tone seems much more even and the slight redness I use to have is slowly fading.  I did, however, get two pimples, but that is usually expected for me when I try out new skin care products.  I cannot wait to see how my skin will turn out at the end of this challenge.

L-R: Oat Facial Polish, Beech Tree & Ginseng Daily Moisturizer, Chamomile Cleansing Milk, and Plant Stem Cell Serum

Now that I have had more time with the products, I could review them a little.  My routine with this kit is using the Oat Facial Polish and Beech Tree & Ginseng Daily Moisturizer in the morning when I wake up.  I use the Chamomile Cleansing Milk and Plant Stem Cell Serum at night before I go to bed.   The one thing I absolutely love about these products are that they are all natural.

The Oat Facial Polish is is a creamy texture with jojoba beads.  A small amount goes a long way.  This is a great exfoliate because it is not very harsh on your skin.  This is probably my favorite out of the four.

The Beech Tree & Ginseng Daily Moisturizer is very creamy and thick.  Whenever I use it, I always think of sunscreen lotion just because of the feel of it.  I was very surprised at how easily it spreads and blended well into my face and neck.

The Chamomile Cleansing Milk and Plant Stem Cell Serum both had a thin and runny consistency.  Both items felt very light.  The Chamomile Cleansing Milk is also supposed to help with taking off your makeup but I have yet to try it as a makeup remover.  It takes me about two pumps of this to cleanse my face.  The Plant Stem Cell Serum has an odd smell, so I think.  But the scent quickly dissipates.  With this serum, I feel a tightening effect on my skin right away.  It also absorbs very face and leaves my skin hydrated.

FOTD: Blue Smoke

I have ALWAYS been scared of blue eyeshadows because I would always mess up and my eye would just look like a mess.  But I figured I need to try and try again until I get it down.  So I am very proud of this look.

Don't mind my frizzy hair.

I am getting a little better at lip swatches so I will try to start posting more of these instead of just on my arm.

Prada Saffiano Tote and Tri-color Wallet Haul (Picture Heavy)

If you remember, a two weekends ago my family and I visited Los Angeles.  I was ecstatic about finally being able to see what LA was all about.  We had a great time.  We went on a tour of the movie stars homes and saw Mark Wahlberg! We watched Cirque Du Soleil at the Kodak Theater, which I thoroughly LOVED!  Babygirl also seemed to enjoy it because she sat still the entire time and would clap happily.  It was so cute.  We also go to visit a few malls such as the Koreatown plaza (it was not very busy and I saw a handbag store that sold Balenciaga replicas), The Grove, and Rodeo Drive.

Rodeo Drive was great.  Before going on our trip I kept asking the hubby if he would buy me something on Rodeo Drive since we did not know when we would be able to visit again.  He kept saying no, but once we got there he told me I could buy myself a new bag.  He is so good to me.  <3

At first I wanted to pick up a Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Neverfull MM but it was so busy and the sales associates were rude.  Next I checked out Miu Miu's Vitello Lux Light Pink Top Handle because it's so cute, but after actually holding it I didn't want it (yet).  So I went to Chanel to see how much their classic flaps are.  If they weren't so expensive, I would have gotten that PLUS my husband really liked it too.  But it was more than my price range for a new bag.  Finally I went to Prada and found my new love...

On Rodeo Drive, you will notice that Prada does not have a sign for their store.  I believe it is so passers-by would be curious and walk in to see what the store is.

At Prada, the sales associates were very friendly and kind, which is always a plus in my book.  She was a great help to me.  Once I was ready to make my purchase, my husband told me to pick out a wallet too.  He knows me so well!  Usually I want a matching wallet and instead of going to another Prada store once we got back home, he bought it for me then and there.

She's a beauty.  I finally have a white handbag to add to my collection.

My new wallet.

Usually I like my wallet to be the same color as my purse, but the sales associate recommended this gold wallet.  I really like that my handbag has a hint of gold so this was perfect.

I love the different colors inside.  It's so fun.

By the way, in case you are curious...  Technically I am still on my bag ban.  I just really REALLY suck at being strict on myself.  Haha.  After I buy my Chanel flap I'll stick to it.  ;)

What do you think of my new handbag and wallet?

Hollywood Fashion Secrets (Picture Heavy)

Hollywood Fashion Secrets is a great company that sells many items to prevent any type of wardrobe malfunction.  Hollywood Fashion Secrets was kind enough to send me four of their items to try out and review.

L-R: Fashion Tape, Boot Straps, Accessory Dots, and Bra Converting Clip.

Fashion Tape

What it actually looks like in it's cute container.

Before

After.

I LOVE the results.  I always have a problem when I wear button down tops but now I think I will be wearing them more often.

Bra Converting Clip

It comes with four clips (two clear, one white, one black)

With the bra alone.

I had a hard time putting this on with my bra on just because those metal pieces kept getting in the way.  But after some practice I got it down.  I love how it secures my bra straps.  Now I do not have to worry about my straps sliding off and showing.

This is also perfect for racerback tops.  Normally with racerback tops I would just wear a strapless bra, but I think those are very uncomfortable.  So this is very helpful.

Boot Straps

The directions

You receive two straps for both legs.  Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of me wearing this with my boots and now they are packed away.  But they do work.  Usually I would just stuff my jeans into my boots hoping it will look and feel alright, but this makes it so much easier.

Accessory Dots

You will get a lot of these adhesive dots.  As it suggests on the back, there are many ways you could utilize these.  But my favorite thing to do with these dots are to hold my necklace in place.  Usually at the end of the day the clasp will be in the front next to the pendant.  Now, I do not have to worry about it or always rearrange it throughout the day.  You just get an adhesive dot and stick it on the back of you top with the necklace chain.

Sorry I forgot to take a picture of what it actually looks like in the back with the dot. >.<

Don't mind the makeup. I recorded two videos the same day and didn't want to take off my makeup.

Which of these items would you use?
