P10P Update

FINALLY!  Here is an update on my prolonged P10P.  I was able to empty out my mascara.  I tried really hard to empty out my bronzer but it felt like it would be forever until I do, so I figured since I "hit pan" that would suffice.

Naturopathica 30 Day Challenge: Normal to Dry Regime Kit Final Update

The 30 days challenge has finally come to an end.  Back in January, Naturopathica invited me along with many other bloggers to try this challenge.  I am glad I did because the regime kit they sent was great.  If you have been keeping up with my weekly updates, thank you!

Posts

Overall, I love what the skin products have done to my skin.  Aside from the larger pores, the regime kit reduced redness, softened my skin, no breakouts (after I finally relaxed and stopped stressing out), and made my skin became much more hydrated.

If you're interested in trying out the regime kits, click here.  They are currently $65.

THEIT: The Bossi Bag (Picture Heavy)

Yes, yes, once again Dinah has bought another bag.  I told myself I would buy my Chanel this year, but I think this will be it for me ...for a while at least.  Last Christmas, December 2011, my husband told me I could buy a new camera bag.  He was all for it because it was much more affordable than the designer handbags I fancied.  I have been looking around for a camera bag for my Canon T3i and did not want those regular looking bags.  To me they did not seem very attractive.  I wanted something stylish and fun.  So I did some research and found the perfect bag!

THEIT creates stylist camera bags.  They currently have five bags to choose from, all of which are the same style just in different shades.  If you are looking for a beautiful camera bag, THEIT is the place for you.  The bags are $159 CAD (not including shipping and handling).  All items are shipped from Canada.  At the time of my order, the bag I wanted was backordered so it took six weeks to get to me.

I was not expecting to get a dust bag, but I am glad I did.

A cute sticker that came with my order.

Covered in plastic.

Detachable cross body gold chain strap.

Philosophy Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser

I have been using this product for a while now.  With the bottle almost emptied, I wanted to give you my review.  I received this travel size facial cleanser a few months ago.

This travel size is 3 fl. oz and has lasted me a long time.  You may purchase this at Sephora.  They currently have five different sizes ranging from 3 - 32 oz at $10 - 49.50.  This facial cleanser is supposed to remove face and eye makeup.  It is a gentle cleanser that should tone and hydrate your skin.

It is a off-white thin and runny consistency.

I would always use this cleanser when I need to remove my makeup.  It removes majority of my makeup.  After I rinse, I still see a bit of eyeliner/mascara around my eyes.  But it will usually come off with a bit more scrubbing.  One thing I love is how clean and soft it leaves my skin.  Once I empty out this bottle, I plan to purchase another.

Nail Art Haul

Before my daughter was born, I loved painting my nails and creating different designs.  But now I rarely have any "me time."  So to change that I bought a few nail art items from Amazon.  I want to get back into nails and this seems like a great push for me.

T-B: Fimo Sticks and Rhinestones

Premium MASH 100 Pc Nail Art Nailart 3d Manicure Design Sticks Rods Stickers Gel Tips

Pros
  • $6.99 for 100 canes.
  • A wide variety of different and creative designs.
  • Beautiful detail.
  • Sticks will most likely last you for a very long time.
Cons
  • Smaller and shorter than I imagined.
  • Must cut it very thin to stick to you nails.
  • A bit tricky to apply.  It can't be too thick or too thin.  Took me a while to get the hang of.

MASH Rhinestones 2400 Piece 12 Color Nail Art Nailart Manicure Wheels

Pros
  • $6.99 for 2400 pieces.
  • 12 different colors.
  • Definitely enhances my nail designs.
  • Wheel is easy to turn.
Cons
  • Not sure there are actually 2400 pieces...
  • Be careful when applying because they are really tiny

Bodico Quick Dry Nail Glue

Pros
  • $3.50 for 3 tubes.
  • Really does dry quick so don't take too long
Cons
  • High change of having glue goes on you if you don't have the right tool

Have you tried any of these nail arts before?

Happy Valentine's Day!: NOTD and FOTD

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!  I hope you all have a great Valentine's day.  I will be celebrating today with my mini-valentine.

NOTD

A few weeks ago I had a little nail art design haul (Post coming soon).  I finally had a chance to try out my new toys.  Here is just a very simple design I created for this day.

I love the rhinestones! They are such a perfect size for nail design.  As for the fimo stick designs, I was getting a little frustrated.  It took me a few tries until I could finally cut them at the right thinness. After numerous attempts, I finally got the hang of it.  I even had a little incident with the nail glue and almost got the heart stuck on my finger, but it came off.

You can see the many hearts I messed up on until I got it perfect.
