July 2011 Favorites

July is coming to an end and you know what that means!  Time to share my favorites for the month.

Items:

1) Johnson's Baby Shampoo: I just started using this as my brush cleaner and I absolutely love it!  It is way cheaper than purchasing MAC's brush cleaner and smells good.  It is very versatile.  Since I have a baby at home, I can use it for her as well as for my brushes.  How convenient, right?

2) Sigma Miss Taylor Kabuki Brush: This is my very first kabuki brush and I cannot believe I have lived without one for so long.  My only gripe about this is how long it takes the brush to dry after I clean it.  But other than that, it is perfect.

3) Wet N Wild Trio Palettes (Silent Treatment and Walking on Eggshells): I love these palettes and how pigmented the colors are.  The colors are similar to my MAC eyeshadows, but I really like how compact they are so it is easier to travel with in case I need to touch-up my makeup when I am out.  And you cannot beat the price!

4) MAC Hot Gossip Lipstick: I totally forgot I even had this lipstick.  I gave all my attention to my MAC Viva Glam V lipstick, but once I emptied that out I found this little beauty.  This has become my HG Pink Lippie.

5) L'oreal Magic Smooth Souffle Foundation: Lately I have been switching back and forth between this and my MAC Studio Sculpt.  This is my very first drugstore foundation and I am impressed!  I use my fingers to apply it.  I love how smooth and light it feels.

What are your July Favorites?  Any items on here that you also like?

 Thanks for reading,

love that idea about the Johnson's Baby Shampoo! I use it as well for my 3 yr old boy:)Now I should have tried it too on my makeup brushes:)lol.. By the way I don't buy any brush cleanser for my brushes, I used my discontinued facial wash instead:P I love Loreal products too:)

D.Sadie said...

Oh really?? Interesting. Yes, you must try the baby shampoo once you run out of your facial wash. =) Have you tried the magic smooth souffle before?

I like WnW's eyeshadows as well. Just be careful because they're really fragile. I dropped mine just a few inches and it shattered a little... Don't wanna ruin your purse, so thought I'd warn you.

D.Sadie said...

oh eeks! Thanks for the heads up! I'll make sure to put it in a little makeup bag first. =)

D.Sadie said...

No problem! I saw a blog post a month ago where a girl accidentally left her makeup bag open and crushed her purse on accident, and when she opened her bag later all her school stuff/wallet/bag was covered in her WnW palette.

That Miss Taylor brush looks soo cute! I have the F80 which is a bigger version of it.. But Miss Taylor is perfect for travelling!

I've heard some great things about the L'oreal Magic Smooth Souffle Foundation.. What's the coverage like?

D.Sadie said...

omg i love hot gossip too. i need to get those wnw palettes. everything looks so nice. nice picks for july

D.Sadie said...

I really am interested in that foundation, I love the Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse foundation but the coverage can be a little light. I also use baby shampoo & I don't have a baby...so it lasts forever and works great :)

D.Sadie said...

yay! =)

D.Sadie said...

Nice! I missed getting that brush with the old affiliate program.

The coverage is nice and light. It evens out my skin tone, which is always a plus for me. =)

D.Sadie said...
