Makeup Book, Clothes, Key Chains and Juicy Couture Haul!

If you can all recall, I received two makeup books from my sister-in-law, JC, a few weeks ago. (Click here for the post).  I am still reading the two books that I got.  I promise to review them once I am done.  It is just hard for me to find any time to sit down and read with my daughter being more of a handful nowadays.

Anywho, after that I became determined to own more "must-have" makeup books.  So I was told about Rae Morris' "Makeup: The Ultimate Guide."  From a quick skim of the book, it seems very informative and shows a lot of tutorials on how to achieve certain looks.  The only thing I did not like is the crease that was on the book's cover.

See the crease?  =(

With my trip to Orlando, I decided to buy some souvenirs.  If you visit Disneyworld, you got to purchase at least a shirt.  Out of everything I saw, I settled for the red top.  It is just something fun for me to wear.  I also picked up black pants at a local store to show my hubby I actually went to Orlando and plus I was running out of bottoms to wear.

At the local store, I also found some cute key chains. I have been wanting something with the letter "D" so I had to get this.  Especially because it is pink.  <3  Also, my husband and I has a little habit of buying keychains from each state/country we visit.  Our collection is slowly but surely growing.

With my mom's first ever visit to SD, I took her shopping.  She was excited to go to JC Penny because Hawaii no longer has this store around.  We use to have a few, but Macy's took over.  I like hello kitty, so I found these two sleepwear shirts really cute.  My mom offered to buy them for me so obviously I could not say no.

Our next stop was the Carlsbad Premium Outlet.  Ever since I got my mom a Juicy Couture jacket, she would always want to visit the store.  At their outlet branch, they were having a 30% off the entire store sale.  My mom absolutely LOVES sales and could not resist.  She spent over $400 on a few tops and jackets.  She also bought me this new bag and wallet.  I am planning to use the bag as a diaper bag for my daughter.  I even joked around that if it is still in good condition, my daughter could use it when she starts going to school.  Haha.  For the wallet I plan to use it when I'm on-the-go and just need a few things to bring with me.  I especially love that the design matches my current Juicy Couture track suit.

Do you own any of these items?  How do you like them?

 Thanks for reading,
