Sigma E25 Travel Blending Brush Review and Comparison

A few days ago I received the E25 Travel Blending Brush courtesy of Sigma Beauty.  (I am also including the E25 in my 100 Followers Giveaway).

Thanks again, Sigma Beauty!

(T to B: MAC 224, 217, 217, Sigma E25).
This is my fourth blending brush, but my first in a travel size.

I wanted to compare their shapes/sizes.  (Sorry for the way my MAC brushes look..they just took a bath and were camera shy.)  As you can see the E25 is much thinner than the other two and the hair length is shorter than the 224.  The E25 is much softer and less tapered than the other two.

The 217 is my HG brush!  I absolutely love it.  I use it for everything (apply to my lids, crease and blending) and it's very precise.  The 224 was my first and former favorite blending brush.  But after trying my 217, I realized that the 224 was a little too big for my eye.  Don't get me wrong, it blends very well, but no longer for me unless my other blending brushes are dirty.  Now onto the E25!  After my first use of it, I loved it!  It's a close second to my 217.  I love how soft the bristles are and how well it also blends everything.  It's also much more affordable than the MAC brushes if you decide to try it.

I love how my the E25 completes my travel brush kit!  I had everything I need except for a blending brush.  =)

Have you tried this brush or any other Sigma brushes?  How do you like them?

Thanks for reading,
Dinah

I also received this. I was happy because the MAC217 is my all time favorite brush, and they work pretty similarly

Nice comparison! I have yet to try Sigmas brushes. I have both the 217 and 224, but I can't choose a favorite. The 224 IS big, but I like that it has a more subtle blending effect. The 217 picks up a lot more pigment so I have to be alot more careful with it (:

I have not tried Sigma brushes yet but I always hear really good reviews on them. You have quite the little collection of 217 brushes so far...lol

Haha, I like your description of the frazzled-haired brushes. They do remind me of two spikey-haired little kids who've just taken a shower.
