Review: Coya's Beautiquecolorlab Lipsticks

Coya of Beautiquecolorlab contacted me asking if I would like to review a few of her products.  She just recently opened her etsy shop so I am very happy to get her name out there.  She currently has over 25 different shades, which she handmade herself.  Impressive, right?

Here is just a little more about our fabulous lippie creator.  About four years ago she started with the lipsticks as a hobby.  At the time it was something fun for her to do while on maternity leave.  Eventually this became her business.

Coya sent me one full-size lipstick (Lovely) and three pan size lipsticks (Melon Ball, Pokerface, and I want it all).

Coya shared that when coming up with names for her Lipsticks, they just came to her or were inspired by something, such as an outfit she wore with the lippie, a song lyric, her current mood, or a suggestion from a friend.

L-R: Lovely, I want it all,  Pokerface, and Melon Ball.

Lovely was my one full-size lipstick.

Upon opening the tube, I noticed that it wasn't rolled all the way down so it got a little smashed.  I emailed Coya regarding this and she was very apologetic.  So I knew that she didn't mean to do that.

Lovely is a cute light pink shade, but it seems as if the ingredients didn't all mix together thoroughly.

These are the three pan size lipsticks all 26mm, which could fit in your MAC palettes or any magnetic freestyle pans if you do not have a case to put them in.

I want it all

"Beautiful light coral colored lipstick."

Melon Ball

"Cool toned pink/mauve with hints of pinka shimmer in a standard 26mm tin pan."

Pokerface

"Beautiful red colored lipstick with a golden frost."

As listed on Coya's shop, all lipsticks are:
  • Paraben Free
  • Smooth, creamy and emollient
  • Infused with antioxidant Vitamin E
  • Soothes, hydrates and protects
  • SPF 8
  • All natural plant waxes keep lipstick smooth and creamy
  • Jojoba oil gives shine and "slip"

I really loved the three pansizes!  Each are a different and pretty shade.  Of the three Melon Ball was my favorite.  Aren't they just gorgeous?  The lipsticks last a long time and were easy to apply.  I actually used my pointer finger but you could also use a lipstick brush.  They are also the perfect size to put in your MAC palettes if you do not have a case to put them in.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks for reading,

  4. The Poker Face lipstick seems to give you a perfect lips like Jessica Alba and Angelina Jolie. I'll definitely get one of those lipstick before the ball night.
