Recently, my bath/shower routine consist of three Lush products. They were my first ever Lush items so I was excited. After over a month of use, I wanted to share my thoughts each of the products.
I have always wanted to try Lush products because they are hand made with fresh and natural ingredients! Now that I am more careful of what I use on my body, this was a must try.
The three products I will be reviewing are: Antiphilitron Shampoo, American Cream Hair Conditioner, and The Olive Branch Shower Gel.
Antiphilitron Shampoo
Although I enjoyed the lemon citrus scent, I don’t think this shampoo, American Cream Hair Conditioner, and my hair worked well together. However, I did like that I only had to use a small amount and it lathered nicely. It also really cleaned my hair but probably too well because my hair felt more dry than usual. I would probably consider getting this again but it wouldn’t be an “everyday” shampoo.
American Cream Hair Conditioner
When it comes to hair conditioners, I need something that will work well with my hair. I have thick, wavy hair that is very hard to tame and gets tangled easily nowadays. Usually with hair conditioners I tend to use a quarter size amount, however, with this product I had to use a lot during each use to cover my hair and really work it in since the consistency was thinner that what I am use to. Overall, I won’t be purchasing this conditioner again. It just didn’t do its job with my hair and for the price I rather use a drug store brand that is much more affordable and doesn’t require a lot of product for every hair wash.
The Olive Branch Shower Gel
The Olive Branch Shower Gel was DEFINITELY my favorite of the bunch. I can’t pinpoint the exact smell of this but it is divine. It really made me feel relaxed while using it in the shower. As a “gel”, I expected the consistency to be thick but it is actually a thin liquid that you need to always shake before use. I was skeptical that it would not later well on my loofah but it did! I love that it really moisturizes and cleans my skin. I also liked that the scent lingers for a while on my skin after my showers.
What are your current hair and bodywash products?
