These past three months felt like they just breezed by.  I must admit it definitely was not easy.  I struggled a bit.

My starting weight on Nutrisystem was 141 lbs.  I am ending the program at 130 lbs.  Although I am glad to have lost 11 lbs I wish I had tried harder.

My measurements now and in Jan (old measurements in parentheses):

Arms: 10.5 in   (11.5 in)
Chest: 32.5 in   (34.0 in)
Waist: 30.5 in   (33.0 in)
Hips: 36.3 in     (39.0 in)
Thighs: 19.0 in (22.0 in)

While on the program, I made sure to continue working out.  I was very active and worked out for about an hour 5 days a week.  I was very proud of my commitment but I realized later that I wasn’t fueling my body with the calories I was burning from my workouts.

Also, as a wife and mother, it was hard having to cook separate meals for my family while I had to eat my Nutrisystem meals.  My family also enjoys eating out so there were times I did eat meals that were not in the suggested meals of my Nutrisystem book.

Although, I did not lose the 30 lbs I had originally set a goal for I am glad that I was able to experience the Nutrisystem program.  It has helped me lose the first 11 lbs.  Now I just need to stay focused and lose the last 19 lbs I want to shed.

What are your thoughts?

Oh hey April!  That was quick wasn’t it?!  I am still 131 lbs but I know I am close to weighing 130 lbs.  I can’t wait for that day.  This past week I actually restarted the Beachbody Insanity workout.  I also began running a mile before work.  I love the workout high I have been getting.  I’m a bit sad to see my program coming to an end but also excited.  Stay tuned next week for my thorough thoughts.

Hi everyone!  Well, after today I just have one week left on the Nutrisystem program.  I am happy to report that I am now 131 lbs.  Hopefully by the end of this I can at least enter the 120s lbs range.  That’s about it for now.  Next week I’ll have a more thorough update on my thoughts about this program, things I could’ve done differently and such.

I can’t believe how quickly these three months is flying by.  Not much to update.  I still weigh the same but I do notice more muscle definition in my legs and arms.  Also, when I wear my size 2 jeans, I it feels a little loose in the thigh area but I’m not quite there yet to squeeze into a size 1.

As for working out, I actually cut down on my workouts because I started a new job at the gym which my working hours use to be my gym hours.  Even though I’m not longer doing as many exercises classes, I think I still get some workout done whether it is walking around my house/doing errands, squatting down the pick up trash/toys, etc.  Many of us don’t consider some everyday things we do as a little workout.

Anyways, I hope to have better news next week!

Hi everyone!  Welcome to week 9!  Not much to report once again.  The scale still isn’t consistent but it seems like I gained 1-2 lbs.  However, I’m pretty sure I just gained more muscle from all the working out I’ve been doing.  Seeing the number go up on the scale though is a bit frustrating.  I am thankful for my Nutrisystem advisor, whom I can talk to and ask for help.

I am taking it all one day at a time.  This isn’t as easy as I thought it was gonna be.  I hope I can make you all proud by the end of my program.  I’ll keep trying!  Stay tuned for next weeks updates.

So I am convinced that my scale no longer likes me.  Every morning I will make sure to weigh myself before I eat and the numbers will always fluctuate!  It’s very frustrating.  One second it says 133 lbs, then I step on again it’ll say 135 lbs, and so forth.  I would like to believe I am at least still 133 lbs but who knows.  I’m hoping to get a new reliable scale soon.

Anyways, I have to say if you are also doing Nutrisystem make sure to check out the discussion boards on the website.  I find them very helpful!  With about two months into the program and having only lost 8 lbs, I get very frustrated.  When I turned to the discussion board, I learned that our bodies are different.  It took me 9 months to gain the extra weight so I can’t expect for all of it to shed in just a few months.  I just need to keep eating my meals and working out.
