I have to admit, when it comes to my hair I am very plain and simple.  Basically the only products I will almost always utilize are shampoo and conditioner…  That is it.  It is a very rare occasion when I actually style my hair whether it is using a blow dryer, hair spray, flat iron, curling iron, etc.   I know, I am boring.

So!  I was excited when Rock Your Hair by Michael O’Rourke contacted me asking me to review a few of their products.  I saw it as my opportunity to have more fun with my hair and spice it up a bit here and there.

I was beyond surprise when I saw the products.  I was assuming I would receive small size samples but they were all in their regular full size containers!

Size Matters Big Volume Root Life

Directions: Shake can well before use.  For voluptuous volume, spray directly on the roots while hair is damp before blow drying.

Review: Unfortunately I am not that great blowdrying my hair so this product did not work out too well with my hair.  However, when I do get the hang of the art of blowdrying, I will report back my results of this product.

Spray it Hard Big Volume Hairspray

Directions: Shake can well and spray into styled hair for lift and hold.

Review: Now hairsprays I can do.  It has an amazing hold for hours on my hair.  It dries in seconds and smells great.  I will have a lot of fun with this and experiment more with new hair styles for myself.

Miracle Leave-in Conditioner Weightless Detangler

Directions: Towel dry wet hair, lift hair lightly and spray from roots to ends. Comb through gently.

Review: This is one of the best detanglers I have used by far.  I have long thick hair so it gets easily for my hair to get tangled.  This product also seems kid-friendly.  It works great for my daughter especially since she always manages to tangles the edges of her hair. This will leave your hair soft and much more manageable.

Bombshell Big Hair Powder

Directions: Apply at the roots on dry hair to revive volume or dust all over for extra shine and texture. Replace cap after use.

Review: This is a fun product to use.  It’s the first time I had to apply white powder to my hair.  It definitely gives your hair that little extra volume and shine.  I was surprised at how quickly it works.  Just don’t use too much on your hair or else it will get tangled and stiff.

Big Hair Rocks Shampoo and Big Hair Rocks Conditioner

Shampoo Directions: Apply to wet hair, lather, rinse.

Conditioner Directions: After shampooing, work into hair, wait 30 seconds and rinse.

Review: My only qualm with these was that the bottle seemed to small especially for shampoo and conditioner.  I managed to go through both bottles in less than 2 weeks, which left me very sad.  These will be one of my favorites.  They smelt amazing and worked so well with my hair.
